Been a while

So, it's been over a year since I have last come on here. So, there's a lot to add. Jaxx is 2.5 years old now. And very busy. He loves coloring and painting! He can't get enough of it. He loves playing outside, water, helping me do chores (which I love), watching movies, playing games and Lego's. He is still the calm laid back kid he always has been. His favorite word is NO. He thinks he is the boss most of the time and can be pretty mouthy and argumentative. He gets excited to see and play with his cousins. We are currently potty training, which has been pretty easy for the most part. As long as he's not too distracted. We recently went to the beach for a few days and he couldn't get enough of the sand and water! His favorite foods are hot dogs, fruit snacks, bananas, raspberries and Popsicles. He really wants a dog, we settled on a hamster, that unfortunately bites so we don't hold her. But, he's happy enough to watch her play in her cage and roll around the house in her ball. He likes to wear his rain boots and daddy's hats. His favorite movie is Toy story, but loves free willy and Santa clause 2. Loves little Einsteins and the backyardigans. He just learned the song 'I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee" and we can't get enough of him doing the gestures, it's so cute.

As for Bryan and I, married life is pretty much the same as life before. We are doing well and are 5 months into another pregnancy. The baby is due on Christmas. Our last ultrasound it looked like a girl but it wouldn't open it's legs for us to get a better peak. If it is a girl her name will be Sophia Lillian Phares. If it's a boy, well that's up to Bryan. Jaxx was very resistant to the idea at first but now he's warming up to it. He rubs my belly and kisses it before he turns around and pinches it really hard. I still work at Costco, mornings stocking and folding clothing. Bryan's at a place called PAC paper. We are currently looking into buying a house. something closer to Vancouver, even though we love La Center. We want to be closer to everyone and everything. That pretty much sums everything up off the top of my head :)

16 month update

Jaxx is a hurricane! Everything must be touched, explored and tasted. he climbs on everything and has mastered getting off our bed, jumping on the couch and getting in the kitchen drawers. his favorite toy is a ball. he always walks around with one of daddy's hats on and drags his blanky everywhere. he tries to put his shoes on, and knows how to take off his shirts, he just cant get them over his head. lol. he loves his baths and we cant shower with out him. he yells back at us now, cant understand what he's saying most the time, but he yells with attitude. he has so many facial expressions that make us laugh so hard even when we're trying to yell/punish him for something. just cant stay mad at him. he loves water, hoses and pools. he loves being outside! he grabs our hands and pulls us to the front door pointing at it saying 'out'. he now says hi, mommy, daddy, out, yeah, no, peas (please), tank ew (thank you) and can sign please. he will let you know what he wants by pointing and jabbering. when he's tired and ready for bed he gets his blanket and Binky and comes to us to snuggle. he sleeps all night, and still takes two naps. when he's really tired, he gets very dramatic to the point of melting down if you move one of his things, even if he wasn't paying any attention to it, its funny to us though. he will sit and watch the show two and a half men like its the most entertaining cartoon ever. he loves kids and cats. only some dogs. he's a huge flirt, and loves to hang with the boys. he always steals the cell phones and calls random people. he takes the remotes apart and tries to put them back together. he also has figured out how to turn the TV on and off, and change the channels, which drives us nuts! he hates his stroller now that he can walk. he tries to run but his mind is way faster than his little feet. 2 months ago he was 21 pounds and 31 inches long. hes growing like crazy out of his clothes. hes so much fun to have around. The pictures above are his most recent, he painted for the first time, and decided he should be blue and so should the cat. his artwork is adorable and hanging on the fridge

Adventures of Jaxxon

Jaxxon is now 14.5 months lol. He is a blast. He says 'hi, mommy, daddy, thank you, and please'.

He's getting picky with his food, which gets frustrating at times. He loves to play outside and run everywhere. He has figured out how to take off his diaper, so he is ALWAYS clothed now. I made his Easter basket today. Lots of hot wheels and a toy gun. Yes, I got my one year old a gun. It's a little noisy thing. We have one from a garage sale that's broken and he always tried to get us to make it work. He loves his gun, cars and tools. He has a built in radar for cell phone and remotes. Every once in a while people get his phone calls. ha ha. He LOVES to climb all over the couch and figured out how to get up there. He likes to be chased but that has resulted in some injuries. He was running from me, tripped and hit his forehead on the frame of our couch and had a huge goose egg. It was funny to me, he didn't think so. Two weeks ago he got to meet grandpa Jim for the first time. They hit it off well. Well, I'm off to retrieve my phone now.

Jaxx is ONE

It's been a while since I have blogged anything about the little man. He turned one a week ago! He's saying mommy daddy and hi. He takes a few steps here and there and keeps on trying. His best buddy is our kitty Emilio. He knows what no means and hides his hands if he knows he's pushing buttons. He loves baby einstein movies and his wagon. He's a giggly and bouncy little dude. He is afraid of the dark, and we need to break the bottle in bed habit. He takes his sippy cups but you can tell he would prefer his baba. He is a binky baby, and i know we'll be pulling our hair out when we take that away. His favorite foods are bananas, grapefruit, ritz and gold fish crakers, cheese and ice cream and jello and marshmallows. He pretty much loves all food. Can't eat with out sharing with jaxxon. He explores everything all day long. He finally quit eating the cats food. and Loves his bath time! Hates bed/nap times. He has his front bottom and top teeth. Loves clapping and copying people. He gets so proud of himself when he figures out how to do something new. Its so cute!

A monthly update

Jaxxon's 7 months old now! We can't believe it!!

He is trying so hard to crawl, he's getting so close!

He has no problem getting where he wants to go though!

On the 27th we go to a dermitologist at Doernbechers to

get his spot on his head checked out, hopefully it just goes

away on its own.

Bryan's still working his heart out on numerous jobs

as well as getting xclusive entertainment and VIP intertainment

on the roll. So far so good!

We got a new place in La center.We love it. It's so quiet!

And, for once in my life, I have no pets. So I am attempting to

keep two little plants... fingers crossed haha..

I just do my friday through monday thing at Costco.

would much rather be at home though!!

All in all, we're all doing fantastic!

6 Months

Jaxxon is 6 months ALREADY! We can't believe it!

He seems to be teething and chews on everything, his favorite is anything cloth. He can almost sit up by himself. He trys so hard to crawl but can't get his arms going. He gets so mad that he can't. If his arms can go as fast as his little legs do ... we're in trouble lol. Since he hasn't mastered crawling, he rolls.He loves the baby wipes. They just keep popping up each time he pulls a new one out. He LOVES his jumperoo, he goes nuts in it. He fell asleep in it the other night within seconds of bouncing and yelling away, then when we said his name he popped up, wide awake, and was bouncing again..then fell asleep and woke up and on till he finally passed out for good. It was so funny! He doesn't like being laughed at. It embarrasses his and makes him sad now that he realizes what's going on. He talks non stop and smiles all the time. He loves the tv and computer and plays with his toys a lot more now. He loves his carrots and peas and cereal. And fresh bananas. Hates green beens, those end up in mommy's face. He also loves watching daddy play softball. When he sees Bryan walk by he screams at him, it's pretty funny/cute. Jaxx also loves animals, they on the other hand stay arms length away lol.. We got his 6 month pictures done at picture people. They turned out cute as you can see for yourself :)

Trying to be like daddy!

Jaxxon's almost five months already! (on the 20th). He had his four month appointment and was 23 inches long and just over 12 pounds. He is on soy formula now since he's allergic to somthing in milk.

I can't believe it! He rolls over from his tummy to his back, and he talks so much! He loves to bounce and refuses to laugh for mommy. He only laughs for daddy! Little punk. haha. He loves his jumperoo, and is finally figuring out what to do with all his toys!

Bryan and I are doing great! We are looking for a new place! I can't wait! He is working multiple jobs (I feel sorry for him, I hate working one!). My mother's day was great! I had to work all day but we had dinner at grandma Judy's. Now we're looking forward to fathers day! And, of course, my birthday!
